Regardless of age, race, ability or financial status, the Gallatin Valley YMCA exists to offer fun and healthy camps and programs for all. Whether it's our flag football program, our early learning program or our summer day camps, each program integrates the YMCA's core values of honesty, caring, respect and responsibility. Y's are for people of all faiths, races, abilities, ages and incomes. No one is turned away for inability to pay. The YMCA's strength is in the people they bring together. While our programs and services have evolved, our mission to create a community where all people, especially the young are encouraged to develop to their fullest potential in spirt, mind and body has and will remain steadfast. With the support of our community, The Gallatin Valley YMCA will continue to work towards constructing a new facility where we will offer a safe and caring environment, creative activities, health and wellness programs and opportunities to serve the needs of others.
Each year, we receive many scholarship requests from families who cannot afford even our low fees. Through the generosity of our donors, our Annual Campaign and fund raising events, we will continue to grow our programs to meet the needs of our community. It is our pledge that within the available resources of the Gallatin Valley YMCA, we will provide services for any youth or adult who desires to participate, regardless of their ability to pay.

Andrea wants to live in a world filled with happy kids, healthy families, books that come bundled with extra dark chocolate and a force field around her wallet that repels meddling fingers from teen-age boys. As an accomplished executive with more than 25 years experience, she’s worked in the non-profit and corporate worlds. Currently serving as the CEO of the Gallatin Valley YMCA, Andrea works every day to grow YMCA programs that serve the community. In the past five years, she has re-built the Board of Directors, grown the budget from $150,000 to almost $1 million, begun a capital campaign and grown the YMCA staff from 1 to over 65, all while continuing to visit the hairdresser to cover all her gray hair. When she’s not fund raising, working with her staff or playing with Y kids, she definitely wants to be skiing with her husband, smelling the roses in her garden or cheering on her two teen-age boys at sporting events.
If you’ve ever phoned our Y or stopped by the Y, most likely you’ve met Brittany Cornell.
