It's a tradition, a daily fact of life that we embrace at the Gallatin Valley YMCA.Our History: During the last 12 years, your Gallatin Valley YMCA has grown from an idea to a full-fledged sports and program organization that strives to serve our broad community with programs that engage the spirit, mind and body.Our Purpose: To serve the children and families of Gallatin and Park counties with programs that encourage active and healthy lifestyles,whether that be through sports programs such as our flag football and basketball programs or programs for working parents such as our summer Adventure Day Camp or teen camps.Our Values: The YMCA knows that each and every child and family in our valley deserves the same opportunities regardless of ability to pay. We are proud to have offered over $98,000 in scholarships and financials assistance in 2012. Thanks to the generosity of our donors, we will continue to honor our mission to offer healthy and active programs to all of the youth and families of Gallatin, Madison and Park counties.Our Future: Already having secured 23 acres of land in the 100 acre regional park, your YMCA is poised to build a true community center for the Gallatin Valley. During the next year, the Gallatin Valley YMCA will continue to develop programs that meet the needs of our community while beginning the work of developing a capital campaign to construct a state-of-the-art facility that welcomes children of all ages, families of all incomes and seniors of all abilities.
